Wort Moon Ritual

July 29

Wort Moon Event Image

Join us as we gather beneath the July full moon to honor the Wort Moon. The word wort comes from Old Anglo-Saxon and refers to herbs, green plants, and those plants traditionally used for food, healing, and magickal work.

At this time of year, the Earth is lush with life following the Summer Solstice, and the energy of the growing world is strong. The Wort Moon invites us to reflect on the gifts of the green world, the wisdom of herbs, and the living connection between the Earth, our bodies, and spirit. It is a time to recognize growth, vitality, and the sacred power found in nature’s abundance.

This ritual will offer an opportunity to celebrate the fullness of the season, honor the plants and herbs that sustain and support us, and connect with the cycles of growth, flowering, and renewal.

This is an open ritual. For further information, please contact sanghasho2003@gmail.com.
